STREET LEAGUE 2016 DATES & LOCATIONS ANNOUNCED

Leticia made history last year when she was crowned winner of the first ever Women’s Super Crown Cup Championships at Street League in Chicago.

Brazil’s Leticia Bufoni tre flipped her way to first place, won a $30,000 check, and a Nixon watch worth $11,000.

The 2016 string of events kick off this weekend, March 5-6, at the 22nd Annual Tampa Pro presented by Monster Energy. Tampa Pro is the official North American Qualifier into SLS, where two pros currently not on the SLS roster will be given an opportunity to win their way into the League.

And for the second year in a row, SLS will include a Women’s Division as part of the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship.

Aside from SLS spots and points, skaters from around the globe will compete to claim part of the $75,000 prize purse, in addition to the coveted Monster Energy Golden Ticket straight to the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship.

Following Tampa Pro, the international SLS Nike SB Pro Open returns to Barcelona, Spain in May at the Skate Agora BDN plaza. The world’s best will come together to compete for a Golden Ticket to the 2016 SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship, and two non-SLS Pros will solidify their spot in SLS.
Including the 2016 SLS Picks, and the four new Pros, the 2016 SLS Nike SB World Tour officially gets underway in Munich, Germany in July for the headline event at MUNICH MASH.

In August a stop in Newark, NJ will solidify the Top 8 pros advancing to the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship in Los Angeles for the first time ever.

And for the second year in a row, SLS will include a Women’s Division as part of the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship!

X GAMES OSLO: WOMENS STREET RESULTS!

Wow wow wow, this was TOO exciting last night, Lucy and I were on the edge of our seats on the last round as it literally could’ve been anyone’s!

Pamela Rosa bagged herself first place in her very first run with a score of 80.33! She was hitting all the big rails at speed and looked pretty confident for a 16yr old. Lacey Baker, although clearly super ill still came in at second place, and Vanessa Torres knocked Leticia Bufoni out of third place at the very last minute!

Alexis Sablone, an MIT graduate, was one of our favourites to watch, she went for the big rails and stairs but the kick flip back 50-50 just kept getting away from her. Alana Smith smashed it too with loads of back lips, feebles and a nice over crook on the rail.

Congratulations to everyone taking part, it’s always nice to see equal prize money at these big events!

Lucy Adams Sidewalk Interview!!!

In the interview Lucy talks about the early days, being one of the UKs OG female skaters and the industry as it is now, amoungst a whole load more of skate related wisdom.
