BRASH LADIES SKATE DATE > RAIN

We wanted to give Brash Skate And Create a shout out for sticking two fingers up to the British weather and going ahead with her Ladies Skate Date in Norwich last Sunday!

The girls battled freezing temperatures and all sorts of wind and rain last weekend for the chance to learn from skate coach Harriet Alana!

GED WELLS ART EXHIBITION SHOWING UNTIL JAN 4TH

Artist Ged Wells invites you to follow the ‘Nihilistic Adventures of Rejected Puppets’, in his latest collection of paintings and drawings on display from December 4 2015 – January 4th 2016.

  
Ged Wells first became known as an artist and the creator of the Insane clothing label in the mid-1980s while competing internationally in skateboarding and writing for skateboarding’s R.A.D magazine.

The ongoing show is called ‘Nihilistic Adventures of Rejected Puppets’ and will run until Jan 4th 2016 at Thunders, 49 Commercial Street, London E1 6BD.

LACEY BAKER ON THE FUTURE OF WOMENS SKATEBOARDING

  

“I definitely think it’s important [to help pave the way for future female skaters] in that sense. We have to look out for each other. Dudes aren’t going to look out for us. We need to be kind and welcoming. 

I think it’s important to create the platform and be open to the youngsters who look up to us. Spread the good vibes and how we would want to be treated in the industry.”
