Go Skateboarding Day 2015

First up, Happy Fathers Day to all you rad dads out there!

It’s International Go Skateboarding Day Today (and the longest day of the year!) Originally conceived by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) in 2004 to promote skateboarding and make it a more accessible activity by way of encouraging skaters to put on events all over the world.

11 years on and there are hundreds, if not thousands of GSD events going on worldwide so you are bound to find something that you (and yer dad!) can get along to.

If you’re around Brighton be sure to check out our main event of the year: Push The Prom in Brighton starts at the Level Skatepark at 10am. We are gathering up an army of skateboarders to push the 3 mile promenade with us – last year saw over 100 skaters join in and we have tonnes of sponsors on board so come get involved!

Happy skateboarding! X
