Push The Prom is back for Go Skate Day! 21st June 2015

It’s almost that time again!! Planning for this years Push The Prom event in Brighton is underway, and we are excited for our SECOND official ‘International Go Skate Day’ event next month on Sunday June 21st, in Association with Brighton & Hove Skateparks Association.

Push-The-Prom

Those who came to ‘Push The Prom’ last year will know that we gathered up an army of skaters to cruise along the Brighton Promenade with fun skate sessions either side… and thats exactly what we will be doing again this year, albeit with a slight change to our route plan!

We will be kicking the day off at The Level Skatepark where we will be giving skate lessons alongside Lovenskates very own Lucy Adams, the UK’s no.1 Female Skateboarder. A mini ramp jam and other fun competitions will follow before heading off along the Promenade to Hove Lagoon Skatepark for more jams and some prize giving… so be sure to stick around!

MASSIVE thanks to everyone who’s continuing to get involved in helping to make this event happen, big up to Lucy Adams and Brighton & Hove Skateparks Association & to the Brighton She Shredders, Thanks to our sponsors: Thrasher, Independent, Spitfire, Etnies, Story Clothing, Stance Socks, Thrashion, Cheapo, Z-Flex & Kamikazee Boarding.
With all these guys on board, and more to be confirmed you can be pretty sure everyone goes home with a little something so come along & join in with the fun!

We’ll also have a little pop up shop selling event t-shirts, handmade jewellery from Bahru and some other bits and bobs so don’t forget to bring your pocket money.

For those 18+, please feel free to join us for drinks afterwards at Big Beach Cafe at Hove Lagoon Skatepark, owned by Fat Boy Slim, where we will carry on the celebrations!

Meet us at The Level Skatepark bright and early, lessons will start at 10am…
Keep checking back for the official schedule next week!

This event is absolutely free, so there’s no excuse not to gather up your friends and come along to celebrate ‘International Go Skateboarding Day!’
Boys are more than welcome to join in with Push The Prom (the more the merrier!) it’s just the lessons that are for the girls only 🙂

Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, come and join us to PUSH THE PROM!
