The SLS 2018 season has kicked off in style with a strong opening day of competition at the SLS Pro Open in London, UK.
The highlight of the day came as US skater Jenn Soto took top honours in the women’s event in the Copperbox Arena at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Soto was in full form as she took the win with 25.6 points ahead of Lacey Baker in second on 25.2, while Mariah Duran finished third with 25.0 points.
The SLS Pro Open marked an expansion of the SLS Women’s division, with an additional Women’s Qualifier event ahead of the final, to help set the stage for the new SLS World Championship.
