We hosted a girls skate jam in Barking in December, the turnout was amazing with over 60 girls showing up to the super accommodating Better Extreme skatepark.
We had Lucy Adams and Kirsty Tonner on the mic throwing out the plentiful prizes from our sponsors Shiner Dist & Santa Cruz Skateboards, Jenna Selby was there to snap all of the best bits, and a small film production company come along to shoot a short film with us for Facebook. The film will be shown next week at the Facebook Communities Summit in London, more news on that soon!
The impromptu jam was the most fun we’d had in ages and it was a great way to round off 2017. Thanks to everyone for coming along at such short notice, we hope you enjoyed the pizza!
