Skatehut is launching #DesignADeck, a national competition offering the skateboarding community the opportunity to make their dream deck creations become a reality.
Calling on skaters to create a killer deck design using a template provided by Skatehut, #DesignADeck is a contest open to riders of all abilities across the UK, with bespoke 8” boards up for grabs!
The competition run by Skatehut, will open on the 6th May and run throughout May with riders tasked with creating their own signature board design using their creative flair.
A judging panel at Skatehut.co.uk will review each and every custom deck design entry submitted; one winner and two runners-up will each have their custom designed decks produced. In addition, the main winner of #DesignADeck will also bag themselves £200 worth of components.
“We’re calling on skaters everywhere to get their creative juices flowing and showcase their artistic talents in order to come up with the sickest, slickest graphic composition possible.
“Be it street inspired illustrations or abstract art creations, our judging panel is looking forward to reviewing all the #DesignADeck submissions that will no doubt create the ultimate skatepark envy for the winners.” – Mark Johansen-Berg, Founder & CEO of Skatehut.
Skaters entering the competition will be required to download the #DesignADeck template on the Skate Hut website and submit their design either using image editing software or drawing their dream board design by hand.
The #DesignADeck competition starts on Friday 6th May 2016 and ends on Tuesday 31st May 2016. Only one entry per person is permitted. The full terms and conditions of Skatehut’s #DesignADeck are available to view at https://www.skatehut.co.uk/articles/designadeck.htm
