Anyone thinking of coming should get their travel itinerary sorted ASAP as it will start to get expensive the closer it gets!

For those who have never skated Brighton before the address for out meeting place is…

Hove Lagoon,
East Sussex,

The nearest train station to Hove Lagoon is actually Portslade (about a 15 min walk / 10 min skate).

Public Transport from outside Brighton:

Rail : :
National Rail enquiries: 08457 484950 http://www.nationalrail.co.uk

We recommend travelling to Portslade station (1 mile from us ) or Hove station (2 miles from us) Brighton station is 3 miles from us.

National Express run many routes to Brighton. Brighton coach station in near the pier which is about 3 miles from us.

Stage Coach
Coastliner 700 service.

Brighton and Hove Bus company :
Route 1, 1A, 6
This service travels along Church Road which is about 3 mins walk north of the seafront.
Get off at the Wish Road or Brittany Court stops. This service runs from Brighton Station.
If you have arrived at Hove Station you need to walk directly south to Church Road where you can meet this service.

Car :
Use Sat-Nav or Google Maps with the postcode BN3 4LX.

Hove Lagoon is on the A259 coast road.
There is parking on the slip road opposite the lagoon, please note this is free but limited to 4 hours. This area can fill up quickly in the summer and we would advise car sharing.
Do not park on the grass or you are likely to get clamped! There is free parking in the residential area to the north of the A259 Kingsway.
There is also pay machine parking on the A259 Kingsway. It will be a busy weekend so please allow extra time to park.

To find people to car share with please post on our facebook event page and we will try and find someone that lives in or passes your area πŸ™‚

SOFT WHEELS will make the cruise along the seafront a lot more enjoyable so if you own any, bring them along and change them before we Push The Prom.

At almost 3 miles… It is quite a long way! πŸ™‚
