October 5th will see another ever popular girls skate night at PROJEKTS Skatepark in Manchester
The monthly girls night at Projekts is having a bit of a rework and will now be a more special and celebratory event! There will be less focus on coaching and will be focusing more on good vibes and girls and women taking over the space!
There will be prizes and food and music and general fun.
New commers don’t need to worry though because there will still be equipment available and there will be a couple of volunteer coaches on hand.
The night is also still intended to provide a safe and comfortable space for girls and women (cis or trans) to skate and meet other female skaters.
It’s all about celebrating and building on the female skate community that’s already well established in Manchester.
The night still runs the first Thursday of the month, 5pm-9pm, cost £6 and is led by the amazing Zoe Tyler and Connie Gascoyne as well as tonnes of other incredible volunteers like Dani Abulhawa, Caroline Jane, Col Hardman, Christie Staunton, Lulu Heal Illustration, Lisa Panda, Sascha Blythe and Alice Doherty to name a few!
Also there’s no need to buy tickets or book in advance it’s just an open session.
